Read this…since you probably haven’t yet…

Think about what the backlash would have been like if someone white had said those words.

Skynet Scores First Kill

May 31st, 2007 2 comments

It’s very sad that a man was actually killed by a robotic lawnmower, but it’s also impossible to pass up a story like this without a Terminator reference.

Forget touch screens, multi-location tracking interfaces, and flipping transparent cubes around.

Quickies: Nukes, Dolphin Purging, Defining Irony, Transplant Zombies

December 15th, 2006 1 comment

Happy Friday y’all! Enjoy these quickie links, harvested from today’s browsing and news feed perusing:

I’m willing to bet that when Guinness officially declared Bao Xishun the world’s tallest man he didn’t think he’d wind up shoulder-deep in a dolphin’s gullet. Impress-your-friends photo here.

One of the firms working on the “let’s gain some votes by spending stupid amounts of money” border fence has been caught (again) hiring illegal immigrants. Just in case you were wondering, here is the definition of irony.

I think this kid watched The Blue Brothers too many times.

File this one under cool but slightly creepy: One of the latest heart replacement implants leaves the very-much-alive patient “without a pulse and without a measurable blood pressure.” No word yet on whether or not massive trauma to the head is the only way to kill these people.

Have a good weekend folks!

A History Of Underwear by zefrank

December 11th, 2006 1 comment

Someday, when/if my child asks me about the history of underwear, or where underwear came from, this is the video I will show them.

The history of underwear explained as only zefrank can explain it.

Many thanks to Dankpelt for introducing me to zefrank to begin with.
