Sadly fantastico is not always kept regularly up to date, and I grew tired of waiting for them to push out the WordPress 2.5.1 update.  I decided to reinstall the site using a manual WordPress installation method.

Please hang in there while I get everything back to normal :-)

WordPress 2.5 has a lot of new features, including a totally redesigned admin interface and new tools for uploading images, movies, and other media.

This is basically a test post for some of the new gizmos.

The site is now using iTheme by n. design studio.

Items on the right side can be minimized with the toolbar buttons and dragged around and reordered using your mouse. I’m also trying out the WordPress widgets which are now built-in to WordPress 2.2.

I believe the technical term for all this eye candy is “snazzy.” I could be wrong.

Right now it’s just the basic theme (haven’t even changed the About page yet) but look for updates over the next few days.
