When I originally set this site up I used fantastico, a frontend that installs a lot of commonly used web software.  I used this method mostly because I wanted to see how well fantastico worked and also to glean a little insight into a regular customer’s experience.

Sadly fantastico is not always kept regularly up to date, and I grew tired of waiting for them to push out the WordPress 2.5.1 update.  I decided to reinstall the site using a manual WordPress installation method.

Please hang in there while I get everything back to normal 🙂

WordPress 2.5 has a lot of new features, including a totally redesigned admin interface and new tools for uploading images, movies, and other media.

This is basically a test post for some of the new gizmos.
